New - TEC2: a Smart Marketplace
TEC2 is an innovative smart marketplace for pre-owned scientific equipment at the Technion, designed to connect laboratories, researchers, and departments across campus. By enabling the exchange, reuse, and repurposing of high-quality equipment no longer in active use, TEC2 maximizes resource efficiency and reduces procurement costs. The initiative directly supports researchers and students by providing affordable access to essential tools, while promoting collaboration between disciplines.
At the same time, TEC2 advances sustainability goals by extending the lifecycle of laboratory equipment, reducing waste, and fostering a circular economy within the research ecosystem.
TRT Helpdesk Platform
We have developed an accessible platform: TRT – Technion Research Technology Helpdesk, that connects you with the professional heads of all the Technion core facilities. Please send us your technology-related research questions. Our professional teams will be happy to share their knowledge and experience with you.

The Technion is committed to enabling the performance of research in all of the scientific and engineering disciplines at the highest levels. To this end, there is a continued effort to provide our researchers and students with centers of infrastructure that contain cutting-edge scientific equipment. Technion infrastructure centers enable researchers to study the material properties on a wide range of scales, from the atomic to whole organism. All centers have modern data collection and analysis capabilities, with strong support from the High Performance Computing center. Proper utilization of such equipment requires the operation of excellent scientific staff, that not only maintain the equipment, but also assist in the planning of experiments and analysis of the results. It is my pleasure to present here a pamphlet that provides a summary of all the Technion infrastructure centers, the equipment and methodologies available for use by both Technion and external researchers and information on each centers excellent staff, who will work tirelessly to make our scientific dreams a reality.
Prof. Noam Adir
Executive Vice President for Research
The Technion is dedicated to advancing collaborations with industry that are vital for driving innovation and translating research into practical solutions. We continually invest in state-of-the-art infrastructure centers equipped with cutting-edge scientific instruments. These centers enable researchers from both academia and industry to study scientific questions and develop new technologies. By partnering with industry, we ensure that our research addresses real-world challenges and creates tangible impacts. We are pleased to present this portal, which provides access to the Technion’s infrastructure centers, available equipment, and methodologies, and introduces the dedicated staff committed to helping both Technion and external researchers achieve their scientific goals.
