North Brain Research Forum
We are excited to announce the launch of the North Brain Research Forum, in collaboration with UH-NRU Neuroimaging Research Unit. Our goal is to foster a vibrant research community, enhancing collaborations among researchers from diverse academic and industry backgrounds.
If you are a researcher, physician, or engineer in the field, we warmly invite you to join us for our inaugural meeting:
Date: Thursday, November 28, 2024, 12:30 - 14:00. Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Auditorium 201, Silver Building, Technion
New at the Hydrogen Technologies Central Laboratory
We would like to inform you of the availability of the GTEP Electrochemical Atomic Force Microscope (EC-AFM), an advanced tool now accessible to researchers in academia and industry. For inquiries or to schedule a session, please contact Dr. Karam Yassin at karam@technion.ac.il
2D Center Workshop - CVD graphene and Flakes Transfer
On November 27-28, a 2D materials transfer workshop will take place at the Center for Two-Dimensional Materials in the clean rooms of the Technion (MNFU). This workshop is free of charge and aims to provide researchers with access to the center's advanced equipment.
The two-day workshop is open to anyone interested in learning and experimenting with the fabrication of devices made from two-dimensional materials. Please encourage your students and colleagues to participate.
New at MNFU - new tool installed - e-beam
e-beam/ thermal evaporator. enables thermal and e-gun deposition with an added ion gun for in-situ pre-cleaning, option for co-deposition and substrate annealing up to 900C
New at the Smoler Proteomics Center
The Smoler proteomics center is glad to offer a new solution for plasma profiling combining Seer sample preparation platform with high end mass spectrometry. Seer technology is composed of AI-designed nanoparticles and an automated protocol which allows for selective capture of different proteins found on plasma. The result is higher numbers of unique proteins detected on MS including low abundant ones.
New at BCF: VECTor7 PET/SPECT/CT/OI
The MILabs VECTor7 is a PET/SPECT system with an ultra-large detector surface, featuring one M7 collimator and one M5 collimator for mice and rats. Designed for high-resolution imaging, it supports SPECT resolution down to 0.13 mm ex vivo and 0.25 mm in vivo, as well as 18F PET imaging with resolution <0.6 mm. It offers positron-range-free imaging of PET isotopes and simultaneous multi-isotope PET imaging at <0.75 mm resolution.
New at BCF: Olympus VS200 Slide Scanner
The Olympus Slideview VS200 is a slide scanner for high-throughput digitalization of histology and fluorescence slides for archival, diagnostics, teaching, and research. It supports five imaging modes: Brightfield, Darkfield, Phase Contrast, Polarization, and Fluorescence.
New at LSE - Confocal LSM 980
New at Architecture Resources Center - Creality Ender 3 printers
Creality Ender 3 printers for use of students
The 20th Israel Materials Engineering Conference
The 20th Israel Materials Engineering Conference (IMEC-20), will be held on, February 25-26, 2025, at the Congress Center, Haifa, Israel.
The Microscopy Group Meetings (MGM)
We are happy to renew the microscopy group meetings after a long break.
A New Laboratory in ASRI
The new Space Systems Laboratory was inaugurated .It will provide students with the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in space systems design and small satellite engineering.
