The XRF (Malvern Panalytical) system consists of an X-ray tube, detector, sample holder, and dedicated analysis software.

The instrument is equipped with advanced calibration and data-processing capabilities to ensure reliable analytical performance. Additional accessories include sample preparation tools and safety shielding systems that comply with laboratory safety standards. The XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) analyzer enables rapid and non-destructive elemental analysis of a wide range of materials. The system provides high accuracy and repeatability, requires minimal sample preparation, and allows both qualitative and quantitative analysis. It is suitable for analyzing powders and solids materials. Powder samples can be analyzed either as pressed pellets prepared using a hydraulic press or as fused glass beads, enabling accurate and reliable elemental characterization for different research and industrial applications.

The XRF technology is based on the interaction between X-rays and matter. When the sample is exposed to primary X-rays, atoms within the material emit secondary fluorescent X-rays at characteristic energies unique to each element. The detector measures these energies and intensities, allowing identification and quantification of the elemental composition of the sample. This technology provides fast, precise, and non-destructive chemical analysis for a broad range of applications.
