Dilatometer (DIL 402 Expedis Select, Netzsch)DilatometerDilatometry is the method of choice for highly precise measurement of dimension changes to solids at a programmed temperature change and with negligible sample strain. The dilatometer in the FC lab is equipped with a dual pushrods system that enables doing measurements in a dual or a differential mode. The maximum sample temperature is 1150°C, the range of heating rates is 0.001-50 K/min. Measurements could be done in vaccuum, nitrogen or argon atmospheres. Samples of diameters 4,6 and 8 mm and lengths up to 52 mm could be tested. The dilatometer in the FC lab is equipped with a dual pushrods system that enables doing measurements in a dual or a differential mode. The maximum sample temperature is 1150°C, the range of heating rates is 0.001-50 K/min. Measurements could be done in vaccuum, nitrogen or argon atmospheres. Samples of diameters 4,6 and 8 mm and lengths up to 52 mm could be tested.
