AutoChem II 2920 Chemisorption Analyzer

The instrument enables the researcher to obtain valuable information about the physical properties of catalysts, catalyst support, and a variety of other materials. Researchers can investigate active metal surface area, surface acidity, distribution and strength of active sites, BET surface area, and more. The AutoChem II performs pulse chemisorption, temperature-programmed reduction (TPR), desorption (TPD), oxidation (TPO), and reaction analyses. Multiple experiments can be run using the same sample.

Nicolet iS50 FTIR Spectrometer (Thermo Scientific)

The Nicolet iS50 FTIR is equipped with VeeMAX III specular reflection accessory with ATR (PIKE Technologies), offering continuous variable angle of incidence and a variety of crystal plates to selectively control the depth of penetration of the IR beam into the sample. ATR applications include the study of layered samples, coatings, release agents, monolayers on silicon and chemical migration studies.

Kelvin Probe (NRH020 KP Technologies)

The Nitrogen Relative Humidity Chamber is equipped with a non-scanning Kelvin Probe, which is a non-contact, non-destructive vibrating capacitor device used to measure the work function of conducting materials or surface potential of semiconductors. This system is equipped with a high intensity monochromator light source (Horiba Jobin Yvon S.A.S) that enables measuring CPD at different wavelengths.

Vapor Sorption Analyser (VTA-SA+, TA instruments)

The VTI-SA+ Vapor Sorption Analyzer is a continuous vapor flow sorption instrument for obtaining precision water and organic vapor isotherms at temperatures ranging from 5°C to 150°C at ambient pressure. The maximum weight of a sample that can be tested is 750mg.
